ABOUT ME

Hi!

We're a Dutch couple (from Holland) who have moved house a few years ago to enjoy the beautiful and quiet countryside in North East England. Since then, we have started our family and now have a beautiful baby son.

As we're used to having people stay with us anyway, (because Dutch relatives and friends visit us fairly often), we thought we'd sign up for CouchSurfing and take the opportunity to meet new people.

I believe we're pretty easygoing, so just let us know what it is that you're looking for, and we'll let you know if we can help you.
So if you're looking for a couch to surf in the Weardale, let us know!

PHILOSOPHY

We just like to open our house to people and share what we have with people who'd need to or like to use it. Happy to share, if we can. That's all really.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're interested in hosting for people whom are looking for a place to stay. We're in the perfect location for ramblers and cyclists (C2C route and Weardale Way are just on our doorstep).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a cliche, but definitely the birth of our son. Travelling wise: visiting the dessert (in Dubai)- I'd never expected a dessert to be so beautiful - and motorcycle track through parts of UK.
