Overview
About Me
I study Egyptology and Museum studies, I love to travel (like everyone here, I imagine), and I like to garden, cook, and dance salsa. I'm thinking about starting swing dance lessons as my next big project.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I initially joined because I needed a place to stay while moving from Italy to Germany, it seems a lovely way to meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman (books)
I read a lot of historical fiction and non-fiction, books about farming, antique recipe books, Sci-Fi/fantasy, military action, 19th & 20th century children's literature, etc. I'll read pretty much anything. If you've got a recommendation, I'd love to hear it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once sang both parts of The Phantom of the Opera theme for karaoke (soprano and bass 1).
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm learning German, but I haven't had much chance to practice. I am a professional editor and writer (and I translate from Italian or Spanish to English).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook or bake, aid in the garden, edit & translate, do some minor sewing projects, and refinish furniture :)
