HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still fairly new to this. I guess the fairest thing to say is that I'm not a youth hostel, so I'm not just hosting a bunch of random people and bringing them into my house. I'm interested to host a small # of awesome people who I think share interests or have a good vibe. Ideally 1 person to host is the best, 2 is possible but my place is a small condo downtown and not ideal. I am open to neat and tidy people who have integrity, respect, etc. Bonus consideration for fellow Vegans!! :P

I've never surfed but have hosted now.
