I like to meet interesting travelers, share my local knowledge and talk about our travel experiences

Interests

I am interested in the arts, music, photography, writing. Capturing beauty through my writing and photos is a passion. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, learning about other cultures. I am interested in big picture ideas...what makes the world and people function, what ideas do people have to help our world function better? I enjoy my job as a carpenter at local schools, being around kids brings joy to me. I am happy out in nature, hiking,biking, canoeing, skiing, snowshoeing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The congregation of wildlife around the spring Oolichon run on the Nass River is phenomenal. Cycling around New Zealand was one of my outstanding trips. I also really enjoyed experiencing the people and music of Cuba. Recently I travelled in northern Thailand around Chiang Mai and I loved it.
