ABOUT ME

I took the jump and moved from the tundra of Minnesota almost 4 years ago with the idea of getting my Masters degree... well... I've finished my Masters but am sticking around in CA! The weather, people, and adventures are incredible! I don't think I could ask for anything else right now!

PHILOSOPHY

Live each day to the fullest and don't be afraid to fail! If you aren't failing every now and then... you aren't pushing yourself!

Travel as much as I can and meet other CSers along the way. Help organize several local CS events and am now opening my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't personally had any surfing experience but learned about it from a friend that has used it and absolutely loves it!

Interests

My interests are all over the place! I am a huge movie fan and love to cook. I've taken several cooking classes and hope to take more. As of a year or so ago I started to get into running and biking a lot and really enjoy participating in bike events for charity and other races like triathlons and duathlons! And most of all I can't get enough of traveling (hopefully couchsurfing will make it even better!). I've studied in Australia and have been all over the place and hope to continue to travel to new and exciting locations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most memorable thing I have done up to this moment of my life has been living in Australia for half a year. I met some amazing people and built some great friendships and most of all I got to see most of Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand! Best part may have been skydiving over a volcano or sleeping on the beach and learning how to surf the next day!
