Bas: If friends have to describe me they'll probably say that I'm an easy going, quiet, social, friendly, active and adventurous guy.

Vera: Active, spontanious, friendly, in for a challenge.

Bas: Live your life, do the things you want to do, take care of the people you love and respect others.

Vera: You can do whatever you want to do, just make it work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment we are travelling together so we would like to try couchsurfing. When we're back in the Netherlands we would like to be a host as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are a new member of couchsurfing so the first couchsurf experience has yet to come. Although we've heard some great things about it.

Interests

Bas: I really love to travel, doing things, seeing a lot and so on. As this is my passion I obtained a Msc. degree in Leisure, Tourism and Environment a couple of years ago. Furthermore I love the spanish language and also speak German, English and ofcourse Dutch. Back home in The Netherlands I like sports, cooking, reading, going out and to hang out with my girlfriend, friends and family. Before and after our trip I work as a caretaker/guide for an active travel company for mentally disabled people, which is the best job in the world!!

Vera: I love my job as a caretaker in a grouphome with childeren with behaviour disorders. I am very happy that I'll still have my job when we get back home. I like to work in a team, because that's much more fun than work on my own. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and familiy. I play volleybal, wich I really like!

Vera:
Movies: Into the wild, Snow white and the huntsman, fatasy films, the green mile...
Books: serie Q, also the millenium trillogy, true happenend stories that have to do with my job..

The moment that Vera came up to me in bar and introduced herself; "hi I'm Vera, who are you?"
