About Me
Hello!
I’m 27, was born in Florida, USA, and have lived throughout the state at various points in life. I called Utah home for awhile, and also claimed the entire West coast when I lived out of my backpack there.
I’m currently living in Australia, about 2.5 hours away from Melbourne. I met my partner, DyIan, on my first day in the country, which is an excellent story, best told over a beer 😉
I work in outdoor education; which means I take school groups out on hiking/climbing/rafting/canoeing/etc trips and try to teach them things like leadership, perseverance, resilience, and teamwork. It’s pretty fun, especially teaching 15 year old girls how to poop in holes or supervising 9 year olds chopping up veg, hoping they don’t chop their fingers off.
I love hiking, especially long distance hiking. I’ve walked in many countries, in many terrains.
As a surfer, I’m super tidy, respectful, and open minded. My ideal match would be the same.
I haven’t hosted yet but am very keen! I currently live in an incredible mud brick house tucked away in the bush. It’s a cozy, simple home. I live with my partner and 2 other roomies. It’s small space but can fit a person or two on some pads in the living room. If you’re comfortable with pretty basic “amenities” but are a fan of homey spaces, we may be a good match for you.
