ABOUT ME

I just got back to the Bay Area (in California) after a year of living in Sydney. I spend the last 5 weeks traveling up the coast of Australia and had the most awesome experiences couch surfing all the way! Out of those 5 weeks, I spent 29 days at the beach and loved it. I also met some great people and can't wait to start hosting. I work in SF and live in Berkeley, all the while dreaming of the Australia sun.

PHILOSOPHY

I think what you give to people will come back to you. I think that offering cupcakes to someone can make their day. I choose not to eat animals and I choose to let others make their own choices. I think knowing myself and enjoying each moment I am in is one of the most important things I can do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couch surfing a few years ago from my brother, then forgot about it until I moved to Australia and realized, hey, that's a great way to meet new people and have awesome experiences! I've done it a bit in Melbourne and then all the way up the East Coast of Australia. Now I'm looking to surf a bit more in SF to get a feel for the place before moving there, then hopefully start hosting.

兴趣

Sewing, quilting, reading, the beach, wine, dancing (I'm still looking for a hip hop club in Australia), laughing, baking (especially cupcakes), cooking vegetarian food, eating.

Braveheart is my favorite movie. Sweet Home Alabama is my 2nd. I love Chuck Palahniuk books and have a soft spot in my heart for the Baby-Sitters Club books. I like pretending that I'm ghetto while listening to rap music.

I've seen my niece laugh hysterically because of something goofy I had done. It's one of the most amazing feelings in the world.

Teach-how to make awesome cupcakes. How to do a cartwheel, round-off, handstand, etc. (I used to be a gymnastics teacher in my former life).
Learn-I love learning more about food, sewing and quilting and anything else you can teach me! Also, right now I want to learn about San Francisco.
