About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Waiting for my Erasmus grant to go to Padova (Italy!)

ABOUT ME

Well, well...It's so difficult to talk about somebody, specially if it has to be about yourself but I'm gonna try. I'm a half Catalan-Spanish-Swiss girl. I love animals and I usually enjoy being with them. One of my favourite hobbies is drawing animals (in most cases dogs & cats) because in my paternal family there have been a lot of painters so I have to keep the "tradition" alive.
I like a lot of types of music very much but I specially love rock and roll (glam, prog, psychedelic included), heavy metal, classical and celtic music (in fact, I can play the tin whistle -feadóg in Irish- and the bodhrán). I'm currently studying Spanish Language and Literature so you can't imagine how much I love reading (particularly mediaeval literature or some literary movements, like Modernism or Beat Generation).

PHILOSOPHY

La música ante todo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I try to be hosted, haha!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On one hand, the only thing I did at first was to attend on the first Girona CS meeting but because of it I met my first host and, after this great experience, I started to host much more times (and I hope it doesn't stop!) and introduced my family to take part to this awesome project.
In addition I have hosted a lot of people from different countries, and I have been hosted too in three occasions, but it was organised by an ex-change program when I was in High School.

On the other hand, I surfed for my first time ever when I went to Santiago de Compostela by my own on September 2011. After this great experience I lost my fear of being hosted and I decided to do it again in Holland on December of the same year.
Each host has been definitively an amazing experience!

To bivouac in Sierra Nevada (Andalucía, 3000m high). Have assisted on Pilgrim's Mass in Santiago de Compostela (although I don't have religion). Have assisted a Heavy Metal festival in Girona for eight consecutive hours.

And now I've learned the most beautiful word in Galician: Bolboreta. It means "butterfly". Thanks, Xosé Carlos (from Lugo)!
