CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore allthe different places the world has to offer, before they are gone forever. I want to spend my life benifiting from the joys of nature and keeping myself seperate from the big city grind.

ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Brian Devall, im a 19 year old college student from Galveston Texas. I grew up learning to surf and skateboard, and those are my two absolute favorite hobbies of all. I also have an insane passion for music. I mostly listen to electronic music and any music that comes around, with the exception of country =(. I love backpacking and traveling, and plan to do lots of that during this exciting year.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy for life is to do whatever it is that makes you, andonly you happy. Not saying be selfish and block out others feelings, but if you truly love something from the heart and you gain never ending happiness from that then you have no reason to listen to peoples negative views. I like to try and attempt every exciting idea I think about instead of just dreaming about it. If you spend life trying to make other people happy without including yourself, then your gunna waste alot of the precious time we have here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I have yet to participate in surfing or hosting but Im looking forward to surfing in the future. At the moment my living situation is too hectic so I cant do hosting unfortunatley.

Interests

I love skateboarding bowls and vert, and I equally love playig in the ocean on a surfboard. I obsess with music and listen to it everyday. I also love hiking and being outdoors and im looking forward to many adventures in the near future. I also have a burning passion for spinning fire poi, along with all other typpes of poi I come across.

Music, Movies, and Books

When im lucky enough to be around a tv, I love to watch anything that provides knowledge, such as the history, science or nat geo channels. I like pretty much any movie thats funny, or action. mostly just documenteries though. I love reading books more the TV and movies combined. I have a big bookshelf full of all sorts of different books from travel, to spirituality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well the story is far too long to fit in this itty bitty box, but to put a long storyshort the most amazing thing I have seen so far is burning man, Ive gone two years and lookin forward to the third!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well if anyone would like to learn skateboarding, surfing, basic DJ skills, poi spinning, or camping, I can try my best to help. Although I have been told many times im a terrible coach. Things I would like to learn goes on forever. Ive recently gained interest in rock climbing.
