About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel to learn and learn to travel.
ABOUT ME
I am form Mar del Plata, Argentina. I recently moved back to Buenos Aires after 6 years of living in Pennsylvania, where I attended Penn State for grad school (Economics PhD). I now work for the Argentine government, an exciting new adventure . I am very quiet and kind of shy at first, but once you get to know me you'll see I like to go out, meet new people and places, learn new things. I am very tidy and observant, respectful of people's space. I pay a lot of attention to details and have a very good photographic memory. I have friends all around the world and like to visit them from time to time.
PHILOSOPHY
Be patient and try to understand what surrounds you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started actively using Couchsurfing in 2013. My first hosts were amazing and I have tried to replicate that experience when someone stays at my place.
Interests
I practice bodyboarding, longboard, I bike, read lots of books, I am into film photography, sometimes I write short stories or fragments that come to mind, love going for walks, enjoy sleeping a lot, love cooking (and I do the dishes after). I like kids and dogs. Almost everything I do I do it with music. Check me out on IG: astarloaaa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with a huge turtle in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia; surf perfect waves in Dominical, Costa Rica; visit the Valle de la Luna, Argentina, with full moon at midnight; camp next to the sea in Puerto Madryn, Argentina, on the darkest night hearing whales' sounds; get lost in an outdoor market in Dhaka and try to argue with a taxi driver; bike Paris at night, walk NYC from Harlem to Battery Park.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have travelled a lot and have very good memories of people I've met and places I've been to. I love music and books. I come from a numerous family and have learned a lot about sharing and understanding how different people can be. And I might be able to teach you some economics as well!
