About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To create a wealth of experiences
ABOUT ME
I like the simple things in life...good food, a nice glass of wine, sharing a joke and interesting conversation. I believe in trying to make the most of every experience and not dwelling on things you can't control.
I'm a relaxed and easy going person but like to get out and explore my surrounds and create my own memories. I love doing sommersaults in the ocean, the challenge of trying to ride a moving bus/train without holding on to the railing, walking, all four seasons, group gatherings (especially if they involve eating), bird ornaments but not so much the real things, dill, basil anything with wonderful flavour and getting dressed up...amongst other things.
PHILOSOPHY
I like the Eleanor Roosevelt saying "all the water in the world cannot drown you, until it gets inside you". I also just believe in living consciously, I think we alll know when we are doing what we are meant to be doing and when we aren't on the right path. By that I also mean thinking about the choices you make and the impacts that they can have.

Music, Movies, and Books
YES PLEASE, all of the above.
At the moment I am listening to and loving Joan as Policewoman, Santogold, Feist, Howie Day, Sharleen Spiteri plus the usual host of Australia artist that I would love to share with you.
In terms of books, I do love a good drama that evokes either a laugh or a cry. I think it's just amazing the emotion a book can get out of a person. Having said all that, I also love a lot of non-fiction writing. Anything by Bill Bryson, biographies/autobiographies and anything that teaches me something new.
Movies, again tough to narrow it down. A couple of favourites...in no particular order, Little Voice, High Society, Dodgeball, Lost in Translations (pretty much anything with Bill Murray), Adaptation and Spanglish. There are many more I could add to this list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm easily amused and think there is a lot of amazing stuff in the world. I tend to think that everyday or just unexpected things are amazing. Walking home from work one night I saw some girls perched on the roof of their house sipping champagne and thought that was lovely. Riding a bike from Chaing Mai to the Burmese border, volcanos over Central America, puppies being born in the Costa Rican jungle, 90 dogs and one lady also in Costa Rica, clouds in different skies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I'm an OK cook...that is to say no one I've ever cooked for has thrown their meal back in my face. Australian music is a love of mine and there are some great artist I guarantee you will not have heard of that I could introduce you to. I can teach you to knit...I'm sure I have other things to offer, I'll have a think about it!
I want to keep improving my Spanish language and one day soon start learning to play the cello.
