ABOUT ME

Barb is a teacher of learning disabilities and pupil services director for the La Farge school system. Dave had taught K-12 P.E. and junior high levle Health Education until retiring in 2007. Both of us own and ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and put on around 12,000 miles a year covering coast to coast in the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our youngest daughter got us interested in couch surfing and invited us to join the couch surfing community for our visit to England this summer where she is finishing her masters degree in animal psychology.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are both brand new to couch surfing, the next time we couch surf will be our first. We have traveled extensively on motorcycles and look to continue with that type of touring.

Interests

The over riding interest for both of us is traveling during the summer months on our Harley. We have the usual hobbies and live on 100 acres just outside of town.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much for movie buffs, enjoy the classic tunes from the 70's and a wide range of books from Louis L'Amour to John Grishom and Janet Evonovich. Barb is in a book discussion group and reads a wider variety of authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling the great American highways. We have seen a great deal of the American country while traveling on two and four wheels will visit Europe this summer for the first time.
