Overview
About Me
My name's Bea. I recently graduated from a degree in English Literature in London. I'm looking to have some adventures before I return to the grindstone of menial work to save up for my masters!
I love meeting new people. I'd very much like to discover new places with the help of locals who I could hopefully have a fun time with as well. I'm neat, easy-going and all-round a pretty positive person.
I also love cooking, so if you were to host me, i would 100% be up for making you suppers as a thank you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing partly because i'm travelling on a tight budget, and also because i'm travelling alone, so I figured it would be a good way of meeting people!

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment i'm listening to lots of jazz and bossa nova- Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis etc. I also love Childish Gambino, and generally very into folk and blues music.
I studied literature so my booklist is pretty long! I love Samuel Beckett, John Donne, T.S Eliot, the projectivists (poets and artists -Charles Olson, Rauschenberg, Cunningham), Hemingway, Ralph Ellison, Coatzee.
Movies-wise, my current favourite is The Witch by Robert Eggers.
