About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To as often as possible have cheek ache from laughing!

ABOUT ME

I would say that I am about adventure, fun, laughing, good friends, good food and good wine. My pleasures in life, are friends, music, breakfast, cycling, walking and reading in bed. I am as much an outdoors lover as I am a city addict. I can not explain the feelings of freedom I have when I am in nature, awake early and cycling my bike. On the contrary, I cannot explain the feeling excitement I have when I am in a busy bar or café, up late and over dressed in a city.

After meeting one of my truest friends at university we decided to escape the mental to do list and Manchester weather and go seek adventure…we did! After sometime travelling in Central America, a longer stay than intended in Peru (after 6 months, we still cried leaving), one year working in Australia and a very long way through Japan, USA, Peru (of course) we returned to Europe. I have spent this summer with my family in Bled, and have enjoyed the Slovenian way of life. At the end of the month will head to Budapest to begin a CELTA course.

Friends, positive energy, music, food and bicycles are some of the most important things to me. I love to meet new people, see new places to sit long and talk much.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to be happy and free. To allow the people around to feel the same and to as often as possible have cheek ache from laughing too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not much experience with couch surfing so far, but the one experience I have had was incredible.

After landing in Australia, we got accepted to surf with three amazing Aussies in Northcote! After one day we were not surfers but friends and ended up staying for six weeks! They changed our opinion of this amazing city, and we gained three amazing friends! They have even been to England and stayed with Alex's Mum.

Really looking forward to hosting now we have our own pad, and looking forward to maybe surfing more when we travel again next year!

Interests

I would say my interest are many and always changing.

I love to travel, be outside, ride my bicycle, sit in the garden with my amazing housemates, music and dancing and being silly. I never thought I would be converted to a Kindle... but technology wins.

Food is my big passion, I love to cook it, eat it, read about it, think about it. Spending time with others, over a stove, a meal or a drink is a joy for me. Breakfast, is my particular interest... I will never take eating my breakfast outside or going out for eggs for granted!

Learning about and meeting new people, sharing experiences and stories, asking questions and comparing thoughts.

I am a mermaid at heart, and love the ocean and beach. I love to swim, dive, be on boats of any sort and sit on the beach imagining I am doing any of the above.

Music, Movies, and Books

A very wide and varied selection!

Love films, HATE HATE television. My Ipod is one of those you would never dare put shuffle and I enjoy the most when I have time to read, I have just been converted to a Kindle... and despite still valuing the feel of paper it is the best gift I have had in years.
