About Me

A truely-interested person who likes to keep learning about the world and other people every day, who enjoys nature, art and music as well as sitting together with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, who is into Yoga, Volleyball and Slacklining, who loves cooking, good conversation and the mountains.
I have travelled a lot in the last years, so I learned to adapt to all sorts of people, environments and accomodation, such as Mongolian gear tents, tiny shared rooms in India and Pilgrim's hostels on the frensh Way of St. James. I highly value the trust of others who offer a couch, always doing my best to respect privacy and the other's personal needs, trying to enrich the situation by sharing my own experiences, belongings and skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Studying Art Mediation / Education I am currently discovering the missions of different museums. Therefore I voluntarily contributed to and learned from the Exploratorium in San Francisco in 2016, one of the greatest places I've ever been at. Back in Germany, Nuremberg, I am sharing a beautiful flat with my boyfriend Micha, try to finish my studies at Uni and lead a little Museum, which deals with human perception and sensual illusion. Micha and me decided to offer our couch to others looking for a place, as far as we can.
I have had some official couchsurfing adventures during a trip in Sweden and got to know some very warm-hearted couchsurfers in San Francisco as well. And I have also made lots of unofficial couchsurfing experiences by hosting others at my home in the last years - from short stays up to six weeks. (We shortly hosted a Shri-Lankan student at our home to give her shelter during her five-week-internship in Erlangen.) We do this because we highly believe in the circuit of giving and taking. So many others have given a place to stay, a filling dish or warm words to us. Please feel free to ask for a stay and we will do what we can, as well. We are open-minded to all kinds of people. Living a vegan / vegetarian way of life, the only thing we expect from you during your stay is not to store or cook any meat in our kitchen. We would love to share some vegan dishes with you instead!
To make sure you are a person who is truely interested in their counterpart (and who is interested enough to read the whole profile of other couchsurfers before asking for a couch), please start your request with the last five words of this text: See you soon in Nuremberg!
