ABOUT ME

A talk a lot and fast, take pictures a lot and won't stop, laugh a lot and loud. I drink gallons of coffee, love jasmine tea and always get excited about food. I'm never tired of travel stories, love when someone reads to me and enjoy the sound of guitar and saxophone. I'm not much of a book reader, never buy newspapers and generally refuse to watch TV. I'm pretty stubborn, ambitious and impatient. And those are not the only strengths I have! ;) I have always had itchy feet and wouldn't sit still for too long.

In a nutshell - I'm a bubbly girl with a camera glued to her hand, who talks too much, and she can't wait to go traveling again!

Rhys is my partner. He is Australian. We are currently living together in Melbourne and are already planning some trips around Asia! He is a chef, who can't stop talking about food. He is a gem to have around! He is on a personal mission to really learn about food.

Since he is not a big Internet-Man, I take the lead in the whole CS business, but if anyone would like to know more about Rhys feel free to ask questions as he surely will be peeking over my shoulder:)

I moved down to Melbourne quite recently. Arrived here on Australia Day :) This being my first time in Australia in general makes me very excited and a little overwhelmed by pretty much everything that surrounds me. Can't wait to explore Melbourne more. Oh and the coffee industry gets me really thrilled!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started this journey with the beggining of summer 2011 while living in Edinburgh. Me, Rhys and our two lovely flatmates hosted some amazing and entertaining people over the course of the year. In October/November we traveled around Italy and couchsurfed a couple of times. Now being in Melbourne we would like to open our doors to traveling friends and strangers :)

Interests

photography - capturing everyday in frames.
traveling - I think we would all agree here, that there is just TOO much to see in this world! And so little time...
coffee - drinking, tasting, brewing, smelling, reading ...
food - very much connected with traveling. Cooking, eating, reading, talking and listening about food - yes please!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I have done so far was leaving home to travel, live on my own, get to know myself better, meet new people, visit new places. It all just HAD to start this way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Coffee. I would love to learn more, explore more, taste more. Melbourne is the place to do it all. So if you can share with me I would be more than happy. If you would like to go and grab some delicious brew I know a few places we could indulge.

I could teach photography (light,composition,post production) Anyone can take good pictures, it is all about how you see what is in front of you! Also if you would like to go and shoot together just say so. Love to collaborate!
