I like to move, I can't stand still.
I love nature, and any natural landscape, but above all mountains.
I'm open-minded, in the beginning a little shy, but then very friendly.
I like to try new things and new experiences, and I like challenges!
INFP personality type, if you're into the Myers-Briggs - I am!!

At this stage in my life I live a healthy and calm lifestyle - I still have a lot of fun and do the activities that I love, but I avoid excesses, which include very noisy places, big crowds, overstimulation, alcohol, junk food, and in general, things that don't resonate with me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to meet Csurfers who visited Genova, my home town, to show my wonderful native city. Now I meet CSurfers when I travel and I'm always happy to show the beauties of Melbourne and Victoria to visitors from overseas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I joined CS, I was hosted by a great Polish couchsurfer and his family. I learnt a lot from that experience, both from the cultural and the human point of view.
I met a lot of CSurfers when I lived in Moscow (who saved me from loneliness ;p thanks everybody) where this community is very active - congratulations! There I learnt a lot about CS spirit and I like it more and more.
I've met a lot of wonderful humans through CS, with some of them we're still in touch, some have become Friends (if I had to find just a few words to describe what they all have in common, I'd say wise, warm, deep, alive), and we try to meet every few years somewhere in the world, despite the distance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most cathartic thing I've ever done was paragliding, while one of the best things I've seen was a waterfall in Myrdal (Norway).

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you sth about Italian culture and literature, skiing and swimming. I'm ready to learn anything, especially from people who are very different from me, about their habits, mentality, vision of life. I would like to learn a bit of every language and the history and situation of every country. I prefer the verb to share: opinions about intercultural experiences, about places visited, about feelings...and of course about our hobbies!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills are improving, so I'd be happy to share a home-made, healthy meal.
Time and true presence are always the most precious gifts someone can offer, and receive, so I'd love to spend authentic moments and heartfelt conversations with the CSers I meet.
