About Me

With a HUGE passion for life, discovery and traveling, I am graphic design student, photography, video, travel and multicultural lover :)

Philosophy

I am convinced that we get rich by other people.

there are no strangers in this world , only friends we haven't met yet !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to travel

I do dream about traveling around the world, and my goal is, in every place that I visit, to not to feel like a tourist, but to feel like a local, like I am home, cause indeed this world belongs to all of us.
There is no better way to do that than couchsurfing. You litterally gain a new friend that will show you around their own city.

Through the past years I have hosted several people in my house before, especially people from Exchange Programmes. I've already hosted friends from Taiwan, Germany, USA, Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Hong Kong, China people from Greece, France, Croatia, Israel, Turkey, etc...

And I hope to host many more in the future!

Interests

This is as cheesier as it can get, but I do love to travel and I believe that is one of the things that really makes me feel complete as a human being. I could say that I love to get to know new places, new cultures, new food etc, but honestly what motivates me more is the people. How we are all the same but so different at the same time. How 2 human beings just face this world in a totally different way.

I like to feel like I belong in this world, and meeting new people wherever we go is the best way to do that.
That's what really fascinates the most

Music, Movies, and Books

I can say that Im not a weird person. I like a bit of everything. I can spend all day listening from alternative rock to bollywood songs.
The same applies to movies and books.
Love them and keep them with me for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

World Scout Jamboree

As a scout, I have had the opportunity to participate in the 22nd World Scout Jamboree, which is internacional camp that happens 4 in 4 years, and that took place in Kristianstad, Sweden, in July-August 2011. You basically spend 2-3 weeks camping with 40,000 other people from all over the world.
I've met people from everywhere, and when I say everywhere, I mean like places I didnt even knew their existence before. That experience really changed the way I face people, life and the world today.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like my grandmother used to say, "knowledge doesn't occupy much space in our minds", so I am always up to learn everything. Because the more you know, the more you are up to to talk about everything! With this, comes teaching. As I love to learn something new, I always try to teach what I know, as well.
Sharing comes along with it, because when we are sharing, "humanity is being made"

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you around my city, I can cook for you, I can present you to my wonderful friends and I can teach you portuguese!
And Yes, I'm doing this for my own pleasure, because life without these kind of experiences becames boring :)
