ABOUT ME

I am a thrill seeker. I'm a fun loving person, can be sarcastic at times, but always in a friendly way. I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I LOVE to travel, and have been very fortunate up to now with the opportunities I have had to travel at such a young age. This site seems marvelous, I only wish I had known about it sooner. I plan on traveling much more in my lifetime so who knows, you might meet me someday, sleeping on your couch, or you sleeping on mine =) [It's a futon by the way, but a very comfy one. And I include stuffed animals for those who want a cuddle buddy. =P ]

PHILOSOPHY

I always hope for the best but always try to be prepared for the worst, that way in life you should always be surprised and happy and never disappointed! =) My friends and family are very important to me and I wouldn't be where I was today without them. You can never have too many friends! One day I want to have at least one friend in every country of the world... I'm about 15% there... =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not new on CS anymore!! . My couch is open to anyone who would like to travel to gool ole Hollywood FL. I work a lot but always have time for a drink or some good conversation! My trip to Europe in 2009 was one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my life, and couchsurfing had a lot to do with that :) We also currently have a guest room/office with a futon. There is also a second bathroom. :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met one of my friend's couchsurfing buddies she was hosting in college. It was very cool indeed, because he was traveling on motorcycle from Virginia to Panama!!! How incredible is that? We had a great time, we all ate dinner with our German friends and went to our favorite bar downtown (the Rivermill, by the way, the international student HUB of Blacksburg),... it was very enlightening and refreshing experience and it inspired me to join CS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw dolphins of all sizes and breeds swimming and playing alongside our boat in New Zealand, near Russell, NZ. It was amazing, I love dolphins! And the water and landscape were breathtakingly beautiful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Spanish fluently... and English, so I can teach something about those languages and my experiences from my travels around the world... I also can cook =) My specialty is Polish food, Mexican, Japanese/Thai, or breakfast. Also anything with crabmeat in it. I also can braid hair, sing in the shower, and I've been told I'm a good writer. =)

I would love to learn how to make sushi, Thai food, paella, scuba dive, speak French, German, whatever language.. or whistle with your fingers in your mouth. Ya know, the really loud ones!
