About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be of maximum service to my fellow man and my higher power.

ABOUT ME

Miles: I am small town, small farm kid from Iowa that played trombone in High School, some sports. Went to california at age 17, at 23 self employed and was the first used computer dealer on the planet. Retired at 28 to travel Mexico and Central America with my two sons in a homemade motorhome for 8 years. Married my wife Hilda, began working again... thank God thats over (work, not Hilda). I think every 69 year old person should buy a sailboat in Turkey and sail back to Mexico with their 50 year old wife and 11 year old daughter.

I concider myself to be well educated and well informed on most subjects, spiritual not religious, funny, outgoing, very social, love meeting new people and am having a very interesting life, which I love.

Hilda: Born and raised in Mexico, married my husband Miles 30 years ago. I was a stay at home mom and then a Montessori director. I loved traveling with my husband through Central America meeting people and seeing wonderful places. I look forward to traveling with my husband and 11 year old daughter.

Moira Zoe: I´m 11 years old have lived in Mexico and the United States and just finished 5th grade. I love soccer, bike riding, skating, basketball, gaming, internet, animals, making new friends and telling jokes.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that I must be of maximum service to my fellow man and my higher power. I have to be productive to feel complete. I´m pretty much a "live and let live" kind of person which has overcome most of the stuff they crammed in my head as a kid.

"He who loses wealth loses much; he who loses a friend loses more; but he who loses his courage loses all."

Music, Movies, and Books

I like action movies, old movies, good movies. I like almost all music that is well played (Boston Pops to The Beatles). One of my favorite books is Johnathan Livingston Seagull as I relate very much to that bird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I´ve witnessed is childbirth (it really is amazing!). The most unique thing I have done is to be the first person to buy a used computer and resell it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would describe myself as extremely entrepreneurial, I see almost everything diferently than most people do, have lived more than most people I know and happily share my experiences if I think they can be of benefit to someone else.

Countries I’ve Visited

Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua

Countries I’ve Lived In

Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico, United States
