About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world. To explore myself.

ABOUT ME

Outgoing, maybe even fun. Love the outdoors, love to travel and explore new places, love to party, love to meet people, experience new experiences and learn new things.

Originally Tasmanian but migrated to Victoria at the start of 2008 for work. Absolutely love both of these places.

I want to spread my wings and explore the wider globe some more. Traveling Europe in 2009 was an amazing experience and now I am biting my time waiting for the next big adventure.

Although I am not religious I do consider myself spiritual and love a good discussion about peoples own beliefs and cultures. For some reason I have a small fascination with Arch Angel Michael, the Fiery Prince of Light and Champion of humanity.

PHILOSOPHY

Why say something myself when some else has said it better before me:

"Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age." ~ James Joyce

"Cultivating whatever gave pleasure to my senses was always the chief business of my life; I have never found any occupation more important."
~ Giacomo Casanova (History of My Life)

"What is marvellous?
That which we do not comprehend.
What is truly desirable?
That which we cannot have.

Now to see things I cannot understand, to procure things impossible of possession, such is the plan of my life."
~ Alexandra Dumas (The Count of Monte Cristo)

I travel like St Christopher !
You are the hardest of hardcore travelers, and may one day be our patron saint. There is no challenge that is too much for you, but don't get crazy, because you are not immortal...yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love the chance to meet some cool people, share adventures and crash on some couch's while traveling. Services are reciprocated back home....No longer a total CS newbie, been loving it and plan to have many more great experiences through it.

.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loving the CS experience, I have had the chance to do some truly amazing things that are simply impossible for regular tourists. Thanks to CS.

Couch surfing through Estonia in 09 was an absolutely amazing experience and one that will stick with me for the rest of my life.

Interests

I believe in working hard and playing harder. I believe in the duality of man, in such that I love to go out and party but also to get down with nature on a solo or group trek into the wilds (hiking/tramping, camping, surfing and hopefully soon mountain biking).

If im not already actively doing it i'll give it a go, although I cant sing or play an instrument to save myself.

My ultimate goal is have fun and enjoy the time I have left on this planet and learn what I can in the process. I am fascinated by different people and different cultures and want to experience as many as I possibly can. In such that my biggest interest is meeting nice, clever, funny, energetic, stimulating and/or different people.
