ABOUT ME

French, lived in the UK 14 years (Manchester and Cheshire then Crawley), and just moved back to the continent in Belgium.
Moved from the North (Manchester - Macclesfield) to the
No longer so much in love with my job (too much overtime here and no concept of work/life balance), and I miss UK big time... the pubs, the Premier League, easy going people etc...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I don't anymore but I used to be quite welcoming...
Limal is not as near as a Belgium airport as Crawley was to Gatwick.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Received lots of people when in Crawley and loved it.
I met some great people and keeping in touch is always a good sign.
Also surfed a few couches and had very positive experiences.

Interests

Going to the pub with friends (ain't happening here!! Not found any pubs yet).
Meeting new people.
GUINNESS...!!!!! Now replaced with great and tasty Belgium beers...
Socialising/partying/dancing...
Sports (foot, tennis, martial arts, volley... any sports really).
And most of all traveling, trekking, hiking, camping etc...
Photography (but got a lot to learn in that field!!)

MUSIC: House; Reggae; Drumb'N'bass; R'n'B; Rap, classic (winter time), lots of stuff, but NO pop, no Britney, no boys/girls-band, no Coldplay, Oasis, Blue, Athlete etc...
MOVIES: Big David Lynch fan...
BOOKS: Psychological stuff when I read (a book every 3 years on average ;)

- Learnt what E=mc2 meant (at school)
- M'Goun (4,071m - Morocco, 2003)
- Kala Pattar (5,645m - Nepal, 2008)
- Roraima (Venezuela, 2004)
- Take a Chemistry exam for a friend (UK)
- Spend 27hrs in Doha airport after missing a plane!!!
- My trip to the US in March 08!!!
- Met Thierry Henry
- Played street football with Thai guys in Bangkok Chatuchak Market (2002)
- Got Becky in Jan 08 (my hamster) - she passed away a year later. Now got Walter (my fighter fish)
- Bitch slap Paris Hilton.......... or did I dream that one??!!
