I teach English as a Peace Corps volunteer here in Ukraine. It's been wonderful experience as far as meeting new people, learning about a new culture, and seeing new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only recently found out about CS, and for the next year I will still be living in eastern Ukraine so for now mostly surfing. Though, if you want to see a deteriorating town in the donbass region I will be happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only stayed with a couple people this summer from couch surfing and it was an awesome experience- met some cool people and even learned some things. I think CS is a great idea and would like to contribute in the future.

Interests

Movies, music, snowboarding, sports, dining, cross-country skiing, bonsai trees, weight-lifting and exercising, science, my kitty cat, cooking, naps.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many different movies and all kinds of music (minus country, I suppose). Lately if I have time to read I try to study Russian to make my life easier here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe I'll think of something more exciting later, but some of my favorite moments traveling that come to mind are canoeing with my dad in the boundary waters when I was a young fella and also taking road trips in the western U.S. with friends and family.
