I am a high school teacher at Youth Initiative High School in Viroqua, Wisconsin. I teach math, often Algebra, and coordinate our International Boarding Program, and family-stay program for 9-12th graders. I am a mother of 4 (and sometimes more!) children, including three boys aged 13, 11, and 4 and one girl age 7. I have been a host mother to many international high school students from 6 months to 3 years each. We have welcomed students from Japan, Pakistan, Germany, Ohio, two from Rwanda, and one from a few hours away in Wisconsin. I love my family and we love sharing what we have with others. My life is made up of family and school. My husband works at the high school as well, so both of our hearts are there also.
