ABOUT ME

I am quiet at first, then I become increasingly quirky when I get more comfortable with you. Actually you know I'm comfortable with you when I begin talking in more noises than words and start rambling about how the world is so conflicted between beauty and decay. Oh god, lets not get that deep hahaha. I swear I can keep those parts of me quiet to strangers :). I am rather introverted, but I really care about people and I am always trying to accommodate people's wants and needs. I am a secret ball of fire, but I appear to be quiet mellow and calm on the outside. My sense of humor is expansive and often, a tad dark and even strange.

I really enjoy living in Boston and I plan on sticking around after school if I can. I am graduating Massart in May of 2012, with a Painting and an Art History BFA. I know I want to be a studio artist as well as have a day job hopefully at Massart or working for a non-profit for a gallery. I am gaining confidence knowing I have something to give to the artworld, and thus the outer world around me. I am excited to give this.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you should think and do things outside of your comfort zone once in a while. If you can do that, take risks, then is the only time true growth can happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no hosted or have been hosted yet, but, I did meet a few girls from Germany about 2 years ago at my friend, Andy Li's apartment, whom he hosted through this site. They were a lot of fun and it was nice to meet people from another part of the world.

Interests

Arts, farts, fire related activities, harassing my cats, trying to hold ducks (they usually protest), finding adventures, world cultures and food, reading, music, going on long walks, icecream despite my lactose intolerance, college and everything that entails college, psychology (I really like learning about Carl Jung's theories) trying different kinds of beer, spirituality, astrology (oh man let me do your birthchart and talk about your moon sign!!...hahah), looking like a Final Fantasy video game character, traveling, nature. Well hot damn I just like doing new things and learning a little more about the world and myself everyday!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many genres of music, mostly under the Indie umbrella. Show me some music yo like to listen to, I really enjoy finding new bands and sharing them with my friends. I have a constant hunger for more music but too bad my ipod says "No more!!! Im Fullllll" :(.
Again same with movies and books. I wish I read more often, but hopefully during the summer I will have enough time to pick up a few books and read. I seem to be interested in American classics from the 1900's.

I like anything that will make me think deeply about the human experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Falling asleep on the Great Wall of China, I guess such amazing sights tucker me out
Looking straight down into the Grand Canyon on the Skywalk, I forget how many hundreds of hundreds of feet that was.
The full moon (perhaps a super moon) rising above the mountains in Phoenix on my way back from Flagstaff. The colors and the size of the moon blew my mind.
