About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life without movement invites tedium-the cure? Impulsive travel!

ABOUT ME

I am a wanderer by nature. When I was 9 years old, I packed all of my stuffed animals into my dad's old external frame, lightning bolt atracting hiking pack and set out to hitchhinke to California.
I actually got to go at the age of 16. I haven't stopped since.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is to be lived to the fullest possible extent. I don't want to die in a pristine body, I want it to be used up well and good when I check outta this floating rock!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here for coffee, hanging out, all that fun stuff. I love to meet other travelers and hear stories. It keeps the dream alive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed with friends as I am new to this website, but I will let you know haow it goes!

Interests

Travel (duh), photography, snowboarding, biking, learning, reading, walking my dog, eating new foods, hiking, kicking it with friends and new people. There's more I am sure, but I have only a little time and space!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything with obscure twists and turns. Something that makes me go "Did that just happen?!" And I love post apocolyptic zombie flicks! Currently I am reading a ton of books for school on the Vietnam (American) war and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spoke to my anscestors at Machu Picchu in Peru. It sounds corny to some, and believe me, I was one of those people who thought it corny at one time. But once you do it, you can't really forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know alot about multicultural Psychology. I really appraciate and have benefitted from an interdiciplanary approach to learning. I believe that to learn only one subject is to sell yourself short. Everything in this world is connected no matter how obscure it may seem.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
