About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try to live in harmony.
Hi! I´m a 40 year old guy from Vitoria-Gasteiz, basque country. I would say that I am quite easy-going, open minded and warmhearted. My mouth is sometimes a bit quiet, but not my mind, so I try to equilibrate them. If you bring up a topic I enjoy for sure we will share a good chat.
I think that if some evolution has to come for this troubled world it will develop from individuals who care about their own spiritual growth. Any change you can aim for starts with oneself, doesn´t it? In my opinion as a whole humanity we need to evolve before we destroy ourselves by destroying our enviroment, so I try to embody a change within me as a way for being part of a bigger change too. Going from selfishness and competition to an attitude of compassion and collaboration.
I feel myself as a quite normal person. For me "normal" also involves that uniqueness everyone have. I like an interesting conversation, I like laughing, I like music and dancing, even singing, I like drinking wine and beer, better if accompanied of tasty and healthy food, I like feeling helpful, I like getting high on good feelings, I like learning, I like finding beauty in unsuspected corners, I like loving and feeling loved...
What more can I say? You should get to know me and then judge by yourself. Or better don't judge at all, haha.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to do your best.
We are one.
Atento, atento, pero relajado, relajado.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am not able to host because I don´t live in my own house. But I always like to do as soon as I have the chance. CS has given me so many good experiences. I like to say to that through Couchsurfing I have met friends in this life that otherwise never would have met, and that is great.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First I tried to use CS as a way for not expending money in acommodation when travelling, because my budget usually was very limited. But unluckily none of my requests was accepted and I couldn't try the experience.
During my active period as host all the people that came were nice, so the experience was interesting and positive. I really enjoyed meeting all of them, and in some cases we even become friends in a more long term way. Hosting people have been a way in wich through offering something I have in return enriched my life too.

I don´t know what can I higlight in my life. Probably the moment of being born was a top one, but I don´t remember it. I think that if we learn to see the magic that inhabits each moment, even the most ordinary can manifest as something incredible. I am fascinated by these moments when you feel to be right in the place you should be and that everything is happening exactly as it should happen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like playing txalaparta, an ancient basque music instrument. I could teach you a little if we find where, because I don't have one at home.
I can also share talk about local culture, euskara (basque language), history, mithology, music, show interesting places both in the city and in nature...
I can discuss or explain some aspects of tibetan buddhism from my direct experience of having practiced it as a way for spiritual evolution.
I like cooking but don't know very much. It would be great if you can teach me one of your favourite recipes.
I find the folklore around the world interesting and I would like if you sing a song you know, or tell me a legend or an old proverb from the place you come.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First I can offer the basics a host can expect from a guest: try to be respectful in every aspect, try to create nice moments the time we share, try to show gratitude somehow, maybe carrying a present, maybe cooking a meal with lot of love, maybe just with words, or maybe just feeling it, in any way but actually being grateful.
And then it is just about sharing what each one is. What I can actually offer is my intention of making our encounter another great CS experience.
