I am from Fresno, CA. I live in Berlin where I'm work for Lebenshilfe as an Einzelfallhelfer / 1-1 therapist for children with autism.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a lefty and walk a line between French existentialism and Taoism and Buddhism. I believe that helping people gives meaning to my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member for a while now. I have hosted multiple times and have surfed my way across the US. I think couchsurfing is amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2008 I travelled across the US where I had 3 fantastic couchsurfing experiences. First I partied in Chicago, then pubbed in Denver, and lastly BBQed and went to a wedding with a family I stayed with in Vegas. Also hosted many times in Brighton and attended lots of CS events in Berlin.

Interests

I'm into music and indie films. I'm a keen writer and have a special interest in Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac - both of whose homes I was able to visit on one of my trips.

My no. 1 is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Music: Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Rilo Kiley, Johnny Cash, Johnathan Rice, Sonic Youth, The White Stripes, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Leadbelly, Sublime, Flaming Lips, and a penchant for Tom Jones! Bookwise am big into the Beats, Hunter S. Thompson, Orwell, Camus, Irving Welsh, lots of others

I hitched my way across Europe several times during the early 2000s. I have a lot to tell over a few drinks!
