Hi, we are Beatrice and Laura, travelling around Central and South America!
We began our trip in Cuba at the end of September and we will finish it in Colombia at the end of January! We decided to backpacking together in the search of new cultures, new people and obviously new food. We can’t wait to meet lots of nice people!
Both of us are openminded, curious, cheerful, and sunny. We find it easy to adapt to new places and cultures and we try to learn as many new things as possible. We really enjoy being in touch with nature, discovering ourselves and the surrounding places, learning about a slow and natural lifestyle and sharing from self-knowledge, empathy and love. The two of us have many hobbies: we like cooking, drawing, playing music, travelling, learning, and we are open to share our hobbies with the hosts!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing because it's the best way to really get into the culture, as you live in a house with local people. We hope to share with all the hosts that we will meet our values and ourselves as well as learn from them their values and the values of the country and to spend quality time making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy pretty much every kind of music. In particular, and since we are travelling to Central America, we want to learn/better ourselves in dancing bachata, merengue, salsa, and everything else the country will propose to us!

We both have lived abroad many times, and we have participated in lots of projects of permaculture and sustainability

We believe that meeting new people is a way to share our values, our way of life, ourselves and to learn from other as much as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our (little) knowledge about permaculture and our way of living slowly and at the moment, but we are hoping to learn much more from the hosts!
