I am an artist and art teacher in the town I live. I live with my husband and two kids. I moved from Italy three years and a half ago and I lived in Miami for the first two years.
I am a very busy person, working not only in a Elementary and Middle School, but also teaching painting in the local Art Center and in a private studio. I founded my own small program of Rhythmic Gymnastic, a beautiful technique I have been practice for many years, when I was young and I used to teach in Italy.
My older kid is a junior in the local High School and a young musician. My younger child is attending the second grade in one the local public schools and he is a great artist!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about this website talking with some dear friends from Swiss, I took a look myself and I think that it is a very nice initiative and a good way to connect people and exchange experiences and energies. Also, it is cheaper than hotels and make traveling more affordable of many people.

Interests

I love to travel, see new places, read, visit museum, I love surf! Of course I love painting. I could walk for hours without getting tired and I like practice some sport and dance. I can say about myself that I am a loving mom, so I try to spend as much time as I can with my children, mostly the younger. I care about his education, I try to get involved with the school, overtime I can find some time.

I moved after 36 from my country, my home, my family and relatives, to this one, starting everything from zero, with husband and two children! It is pretty amazing.

I can teach to paint, to speak Italian and Spanish. I'd like to learn other people uses and traditions, news about new places I wish to visit. I'd like to learn how other people make their life special and meaningful. I'd love to share my experience to be a mother, my start over, the difficulties to be in a place where you don't know basically anyone...
