About Me

Hi, I'm Beatrice and I'd like to travel:)
Ok, that was the most important thing to let you know.

Now, for the ones that like to read, here there are some more facts about me.
I'm an Art Student, and I really like what I'm studying. I'm from a little village in the countryside of Venice..It is not even near but is the nearest city that foreign people know. Though I study very far from home, so most of the time I'm not even there, and when is the holiday time I work, often far from home. Sooo I'm not often at home, and I like it, but I would like to travel abroad more. I think that approaching different cultures is always interesting, and could be a reason for growth for me.

Farther serious reasons I'm just curious and willing to meet new people, discover new music, food, places..life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered the world of Couchsurfing a month ago because of a TEDx talk on youtube and I fell in love with this travelling approach. I really like the idea of meeting a friend, not a stranger, and staying in a home, not in a hotel. I went to a CS event recently, and I hope to try to make a trip with this approach soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I just love listening to music, every kind of music. It's difficult to choose what to write here.

Recently I got into movies, the first three that I want to mention are:
Venus in Fur, Roman Polanski
Das Cabinet des Dr Caligari, Robert Wiene
La Fileuse, Alain Cavalier

Favourite books:
Fantasia, Bruno Munari
Baci Dalla Provincia, Gipi
Abarat, Clive Barker

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if I never did something that you can consider incredible. I just like to use creativity to join everyday life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to draw (a lot).
I like to cook. I'm still learning, so I cook just simple things, but with love.
I like to listen to music, I'm always curious about it (from Billie Holiday to Squarepusher, and beyond)..I can't play any instrument, but I would really love to learn it.
I studied English until two years ago at school, but I would like to practice it more because I don't want to forget it.
I'm half Italian half Venezuelan. My native language is Italian, don't speak very often Spanish, but if you are interested in and you are a beginner I can teach you something.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good listener:)
I don't want to write a to-do list. I would like to know you and offer you something thought for you:)
