Overview
About Me
Hi everyone, I'm a kind of a geology nerd, and I really love to make things out of clay!
I don't have any extras toes or nipples.
I have cavities because I'm literally addicted to sugar.
My love language is basically suffocating affection and gift giving.
I love water. When I was a kid my brother and I would go back and forth about what superhuman ability we'd rather have and he always said flying like a bird and I always said having gills like a fish.
I WOULD cut a bitch to protect my cat.
I'm always learning, and always always listening.
I want to be a funny person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Making friends and saving money, it's a beautiful harmony. Hey I'm a millennial :-/
I don't want to pretend like money isn't a factor for us travelers but I choose the people I connect with because I genuinely have an interest in getting to know them and/or think we'd have a good time together.
Interests
I grew up on a small island and then a seaside city, so I grew up always going to the beach , swimming and snorkeling etc. I love to camp and hike/walk trails. Since becoming a potter I love to walk around and search for clay and ochre. I love to teach people my craft and would be so happy to share with a host. I also love to cook Honduran and Latin American foods and dance Salsa and Bachata.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been the first woman in my family to attend college.
Teach, Learn, Share
From my interests and about me you know already that I am active and artistic. I love to share and learn from people. I can show you how to cook Honduran foods, dance salsa and bachata, and maybe even give a pottery lesson. I am trying to learn Spanish and French so I would love to converse in your language, it's always great to learn at least a few words and phrases to communicate with people where I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am dedicating a bag to ceramic work to share with hosts! Also, I have a lot of experience watching children: babysitting for my sister, and volunteering at my mom's job as a daycare teacher for young children. I would be happy to lend a hand cooking dinner, doing some yard work or whatever. I have hosted people (not through couchsurfing) and can appreciate all of the work and energy that goes into sharing your space with others.
