Overview
About Me
Hi, Couchsurfers from everywhere!
Together with my husband, Tomáš, we are now travelling in Southeast and East Asia. We are an international couple (Spanish-Czech) who are nature lovers, enthusiastic travelers eager to learn about different cultures. We also love doing outdoor sports and playing boardgames.
We were living for 6 years in the Czech Republic and last year we moved to Vietnam. After spending 10 months working in Hanoi, me as a Spanish teacher at the university and Tomáš as an IT working remotely, we have decided to travel until December in Asia 🌏
We, both, continue working remotely while we are traveling and we are enjoying our nomad lifes a lot. We loved Southern Asian countries and now we are in Japan, discovering again a completely different culture. We would love to meet locals on our trip, so we can share experiences and spend a good time together. We really enjoy chatting about life, geopolitics, culture, languages or anything and we will be happy to do some plans together ☺️
See you on the way!
Bea and Tom
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people from anywhere and to share good moments together
Interests
I love travelling, learning languages with local people and reading. I used to compete in triathlon and now I enjoy a lot doing outdoor sports in general, above all in the mountains. I really like also to take part as volunteer in international sport competitions and solidarity events.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Killers, Pink, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Fray, Amaral
My favorite books are The Name of the Wind (P. Rothfuss) and The Unbearable Lightness of Being (Milan Kundera), but I also really like Amélie Nothomb, Albert Camus, Isabel Allende among others.
Some books that left a mark on me: Las venas abiertas de América Latina, de Eduardo Galeano; Blindness, de José Saramago; 1984, de George Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A bycicle trip for a month from my Erasmus city in Germany to my home city in Spain with Tomáš, which was also a project with a social purpose: to fight leukemia. We colaborated with a German association and we collected more than 2.000€ through donations for this purpose.

Teach, Learn, Share
