About Me

I am a nineteen years old, Brazilian amateur artist.
I love to travel, meet new people and different cultures. I am passionate about spiritually, astrology, philosophy, psychology and everything related to the artistic world, such as: music (concerts), cinema (movies), theatre (plays) and paintings (museums).

I consider myself as a very active, motivated, empathetic, fast learner, creative, independent and hard-working person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I have the desire of studying Fine Arts, Illustration or Interdisciplinary Arts in Europe. I am not sure yet where exactly, and that is what I am hoping to figure out, after having visited the cities I am interested in, such as: Berlim, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Rotterdam, The Hague, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona.
And to truly have the experience of how it really feels like living in these places, I want to have a routine, work a few hour a day, to have a compromise with the place I am staying.
And because I want to visit so many places, it has to fit in my pocket!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a quite eclectic person, I love listening to both old and recent songs. I love MPB, which is brazilian popular music, such as: Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Rita Lee, Maria Betânia, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Nara Leão and so on...
Between my favorite international artists there are: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Cranberries, The Smiths, ABBA, Supertramp, and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've ever done, was to work and travel abroad, last summer, at the Kabas Hostel, in Antwerp, Belgium. I spent four weeks working for four hours a day. Some days as a receptionist, others as a house holder, and also setting up breakfast. In exchange of housing and breakfast. This was when I discovered my passion for traveling alone, and when I decided I was going to be an artist, definitely.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to help with anything needed, that is under my reach!
The reception is my favorite place to work at Hostels and Hotels. I simply love having to communicate and socialize with people from all around the world.
Besides that, it will be a huge pleasure if I could help with anything related to strategy or party promoting. And also photographing and painting are fields where I can say I am talented in. So if you wish to have a wall painted with a pretty design of your choice, or a new photo book, I can do that!
