About Me

These sections "About me" are funny. It's hard sometimes to describe yourself, because your perspective about yourself is yours. For your friend, you are other person, and so goes on. And just for this first phrase you quite understood a little bit about me: it's all about perspective (that's the most precious learning that I've got from my college course). But, yeah, I'm a Brazilian (by nature and by heart) and I'm a world lover in every single aspect. I just love our world and the more I live it, the more I realize how infinit it is. It's so wonderful! Full of incredible things and unforgettable people.

I also do love people, music, books, movies, and food (oh boy, I love it! trust me). And I do love traveling. REALLY. Ask any of my friends and one of the first word that will come to their minds about me is: travel. It's just stronger than me.

And since I love people, I do believe in justice. I'm an activist, a dreamer, a hard worker when it comes to rights and peace. I've been engaging in many social initiatives and it's part of me.

That's basically who I am. However, I could stay hours and hours here describing myself, but then there wouldn't be so great and funny when you meet me! I will save it for that moment! See ya =)

PS: When I was writing here, a friend of mine texted me and asked me if I wanted to travel to a city nearby at that very moment. It was 10pm on a Thursday. Guess what was my answer? YES, of course. And 4 hours later, I came back. That's who I am too: spontaneous. And here I am finishing this "About me" that seems never end. Maybe because people are infinite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first heard about couchsurfing, I thought "REALLY? OMG, THAT'S FREAKING AWESOME!". And here I am. From what you've read so for, I do want to have a good time around the world. Why not share that moment with natives and who love people as well? That's so unique! Nothing can pay that. I have met so many people from different backgrounds during special moments who really made those moments. It's not just where you go, but how you go. How you live =)

Interests

I think I pretty much described my interest in the "About me" section, haha.
Furthermore, I am interest in learning and discovering your city and you =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have thousands of words to put here.. but I won't. I will put just a few and the rest we can chat while we drink a coffe together =)

Favorite Music: Setting Forth (song) , Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Tom Jobim, Elis Regina, Beirut, and so many others..
Favorite Movies: Into the wild, Forrest Gump, Lo segredo de sus ojos, Meu pé de Laranja Lima, and so thousand others.
Favorite Books: Eat, Pray, Love; Meu pé de Laranja Lima; If tomorrow comes; Rage of Angels, Harry Potter and so many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Found an NGO. Youth Ambassador. Started a new life far away from home. Ice fished on unstable frozen lake. Climbed a waterfall. Walked part of Estrada Real (10km). Ice skated (this is amazing if you afraid of rollerblades Lol). Invaded Gilberto Gil's dressing room during a show in order to meet him (and I did!). Rode the world’s largest double-racing wooden roller coaster & world’s first suspended outside-looping roller coaster. Cross country skiing & skiing itself (it's not that easy for those who are afraid of skiing). Went all the way up to Gateway Arch. Spent one weekend in an island with only $ 2 plus 4 friends. Rode 18km in a national park to swim in a waterfall. Hitchhiked on a road. Went up on stage during a show and danced. Climbed a 533 meters-mountain. Saw the sunrise on a beach.
