Hi there!!! =) My name is Beatriz, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Brazil! I've been living in Dublin/Ireland since July/2015! When I moved to Dublin my first goal was to improve my English, to meet new people, new cultures, and the most important reason: TRAVELLING! ;) I consider myself a funny person, easy going, responsible and friendly! =) I really love traveling! I found out about this hobby when I moved to Dublin, now I just can't stop! I can't control myself, the more I travel, the more addicted I get to it!!!!!!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I think this is the best way to learn about the country you are visiting, staying with a local, someone who can tell stories you don't know about the country, the city, give some tips about places to visit, to eat, to dance and also sharing experiences! I love meeting new people and get to know them, where they are from, what their plans are and the point of view about some topics! That's amazing =) I'm always trying to find a place to stay in couchsurfin. I've had two experiences already, one in Amsterdam (twice with the same lady) and another one in Edinburgh. It was amazing! =)

Interests

my first interest is: Photography!! I wish I could do this for a living! No... I'm not a professional, it's just a hobby, but I do think I have potential! =) I'm planning to take a curse to improve my skills and work as a photographer on my leisure time! =) I love movies, specially the "old" ones I've never heard about, then someone asks me "Beatriz, have you watched Casablanca?" example... My answer is "no", the person look at me so terrified, so I feel obliged to watch it, and try to guess, I never regret it! =) So if you have some movie to recommend, please just tell me! =) I love going to the theater, I think my sister is the one blame on that, she is an actress, so she made all family fall in love with this art! I love listening to music, it does change any bad mood, doesn't it? I also love to find new bands, new songs! I love dancing, hanging out with my friends, to chat, have dinner and few beers ;) But I do love something quiet to, being in contact with nature, going on a hike, to a waterfall, a lake (In Brazil, mostly). Exercising and trying to keep healthy (failing at all times). There are so many things I'd like to start doing, and should, such as: learn how to juggle and to play the harmonic! =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a "book" person =/ However, I really would like to be! But at the moment I'm reading Anne Frank diary, really impressive! I've been in Amsterdam twice and I didn't visit her house, now I feel I need to visit Amsterdam again and visit her "house". I like every kind of musics, but the one I have on my head RIGHT now writing this is "Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin", since I moved to Dublin I've enhanced my "taste for music" =) And a movie I liked... I have feel options to write here, but have you watched "Up"? What a brilliant movie =) I also love Goodfellas, so from here you can notice I have a wide taste for movies =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch the sunset and the sunrise on the Sahara Desert, it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! It's fantastic!!! When I was in the Desert I couldn't believe I was living that experience, I've never thought one day I'd have this opportunity! I also felt amazing when I visited St. Petersburg in Russia. Since I was a kid I dreamed about visiting that city, when I arrived there, I couldn't believe, I started to cry right in front of the Savior on the Spilled Blood. Adding more, when I visited Bled in Slovenia, another place I dreamed to visit and another place I started to cry when I got there! =)
