Overview
About Me
Hello. My name is Beatrz and I'm a 20 years old law student from Brasil. I'm currently doing an exchange in Lisbon, Portugal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Considering I live very far from Europe, I want to enjoy this opportunity not only to increase my college experience, but also to gain life experience. Living in Lisbon has show me the differences between travelling as a tourist and really getting to know a place, its culture, its people, its food. Given that, I think couchsurfing is the best way to travel for a short period of time and get in tough with the local culture and the local people.
Interests
I love travelling (who doesn't?), reading, eating and, as strange as it seems, studying.

Music, Movies, and Books
Considering that reading is one of my favorite things, it is very hard to choose a favorite book, but I really like Harry Potter, The Book Thief, Fall of Giants, Maus: A Survivor's Tale, among others. I like any type of music, except for heavy metal and all types of movies, except for horror movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Leave my home in Brazil to live by myself in Lisbon.
Teach, Learn, Share
Considering I'm very passionate about my field of study, I'm looking forward to get to know the political structure of the cities I visit, how the law and the courts works, if the people is satisfied with the government, the public policies adopted to implement human rights, etc. I can offer the same regarding Brazil and even Portugal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a cheerful person and very in love with the culture of my country. I can share experiences, storys, brazilian typical foods (such as brigadeiro, capirinha, capioca, among others), brazilian songs. I love getting to know the city by foot and would be an excellent partner to walk around and talk :)
