About Me

My couch is closed for personal reasons for now, I'm sorry.

* If you are requesting a couch, please read the full "My Home" section and send me the answer for the 2 questions found there.

* 2nd most important thing: this is not a dating app/community. If this is your objective here, please consider not to contact me.

Hi!
I'm Brazilian, grown up and living in São Paulo. I love it! There is absolutely everything going on around.

I'm stick to nature and urban spots. Dancing, biking, pets, plants, sports in general, painting, decorating, sewing, reading, bars, nightclubs, theatre...

I'm CRAZY for music. Please let us share musics and lists from Spotify. You can find me as "Beatriz Torrano".
I made a special list for you who want to listen to some good Brazilian music, called "Brazilian Music for CouchSurfers".
So, PLEASE suggest me nice music from your contry - or anything you just love.

I would like to host people which don't have any kind of prejudices (racial, sexual, etc) and which don't smoke - I'm sory, it makes me sneeze.
People with pets are welcome. I have a dog on my own, unfortunatly she is not totally trustworthy with other dogs... But Alberta is not always home (I share her with my brother and she keeps coming and leaving). So, ask me about it: if she is not home, you can bring your pup.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe CS provides joyful experiences for CSurfers together.
New places bring delightful stories and amazing people.
My will is also to find CS logo "travel like a local" when staying at CSurfers place I mean, explore the city and around with help and tips from locals. Apart from that, making new friends is the best part of all!
I hope I can offer the same to my gests. Unfortunatly, I'm working nearly all the time, and probably (but not certainly) I can't join you around all the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH
I teach Biology. But I could try to teach you anything you want that I know - cooking, city biking, xylography, creating things for home,... (?)

LEARN
Currently studying Libras! Please gimme some!
I love to learn how to cook/prepare traditional food/snack/drink from other states and countries. So, if you are staying at my place, please teach me some!
I would love to improve my English and Spanish. I have practiced them some years ago, but, years go by and I haven't many opportunities to exercise it.
I would love to learn sign language as well.
I've started meditating, I would love some more tips about it.

SHARE
I can share the time I have when I'm home (and not working).
Also, I will share tips about hanging out in São Paulo or other places I have been. If there is time, I can go out with you looking for fun, culture and new places to be found - if it is also your will.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Dear future host,
I will be respectful to you.
I will also thank you for any attention about information and tips about enjoying your city.
I love cooking, so, if you would like to try some Brazilian food I will share a meal with you in a way of saying thanks :)
I can also share playlists I made in Spotify and some laughs.

Dear future guest,
The same things apply to you!
But in São Paulo I'm working nearly all the time and probably (but not certainly) I can't join you around.
