About Me
Hello fellow travelers and hosts!
We're two 22-year-olds on the brink of completing our master's degrees in nanotechnology, ready to embark on a journey to discover new places and faces. We have 2 things that we love to do together (besides traveling ofc): sunbathing and exploring cute coffee shops, all while engaging in heartfelt conversations about life and appreciating the surroundings. While we may not claim expertise in the art world, we appreciate and enjoy its diverse forms. Going to concerts, taking a stroll through an art gallery, visiting a local art installation, and appreciating a city's architecture and nature always spark our curiosity and creativity.
Anabela is a warming friend. She was a scout for many years, and although that might not be the reason for her qualities, I see it in the way she takes on adventures and helps people around her. When Anabela is not busy being an orange cat and joking with people around her, she's probably learning about some new skill or cooking an awesome meal (great cooker ;) )!! She always says yes to traveling plans and is always so full of energy to engage in new situations. A great companion, my friends!! Note: she refuses chocolate most of the time, and does not understand my sweet tooth-Beatriz
Don't let Beatriz fool you!!! She is known among our friend group for having a resting bitch face which usually gives off an unfriendly vibe, but SHE'S NOT! (truth be told, she is probably the kindest person i've ever met). She genuinely cares about everyone around her, pouring her heart into making sure everyone feels comfy and part of the gang. She's the force behind dragging me into trying new things and go in new adventures. She has an amazing taste for everything (i'm not even overreacting- food, music, clothes, you choose it). I love it when she does this quick mental list of pros and cons of our little decisions regarding logistics, always coming up with the best option. At this point i just trust her judgment with my eyes closed :) Note: Sometimes Beatriz washes her teeth before eating (i know what you're thinking, i swear she is not a maniac)-Anabela
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Beyond exploring new places, we're eager to delve into local cultures, share stories, and get to know new people. We believe we can only truly know a place through the locals eyes. That's why Couchsurfing provides a unique platform for us to not only find a place to stay but to immerse ourselves in the authentic experiences of each destination. We're excited about the prospect of meeting open-minded hosts who share our passion for adventure and cultural exchange.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me, one of the most fulfilling experiences I've had was doing part of Caminos de Santiago. Beatriz and I are actually planning to do it again this year. I hope she has such an amazing experience as I did. Fingers crossed she doesn't get traumatized and decides to never travel with me again hehe – it's either that or another unforgettable adventure that awaits us! - Anabela
Engaging in youth exchanges provided me with some great experiences. It gave me the opportunity to meet new places and amazing people from all around the world! - Beatriz
