Overview
About Me
I graduated as a Journalism and was working as a public server for the past 8 years in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. But I'm tired of my job, so my husband and I decided to take a gap year. In the begging we're going to stay sometime in Europe and then we will move to Australia. We can not host anyone for now, because we don't have a house anymore. When we rent a house in Australia, we are going to start hosting.
I love to travel, to be near nature and to practice sports. My husband and I practice kitesurfing and he is doing a course to become a kite instructor. We love animals and kids, so I can help taking care of them if you have pets or kids at home. I love to drink some wine and have silly conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host because I like to meet new people and change some travel experience. And I really like to surf because this way I know the place by the eyes of a local and not only visit sightseeings. And I can experience the way of life of that city instead of traveling like a tourist with other tourists.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience began in Amazon forest, in Brazil. I went there to camp in a music festival, but unfortunately the festival was over before planned, because it was really disorganized. So I was there without no idea where to stay and a guy listened my worries and asked if I wanted to stay in his home. In the begging I was a little worried because he was a stranger, but I decided to accept and he was so nice with me. He told me about couchsurfing. I had never heard of this before. So in the end of 2011, I came to Europe to study and I hosted 3 guys, one from Italy, another one from Israel and another one from Australia. I was hosted in Madrid. It was such a nice experience!
