Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people and I think this is a good way to visit somewhere: to know someone who lives there everyday and have a routine in that place. How people live is still part of the culture of this place.
Also, I love to have conversations with people that lives in different realities than mine - I find that amazing.
And as I'm normally not crazy about the tradicional tourism, I find it really interesting to be able to go out or have tips from someone who lives there and probably knows alternative places to go.
Interests
I study cinema and television. I like arts in general (dancing, painting, singing, making handcraft), mathematics (still want to study it someday!), logic puzzles, and, of course, love to travel and to know new people and places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many kinds of music (maybe just not indie), specially old rock and brazilian music "MPB" and samba.
Some movies: Me & You & Everyone We Know, Dans La Maison, Happiness, Oldboy, La Mala Educación, Los Amantes del Circulo Polar, Lucía y el Sexo, Man on Wire, Copie Conforme, Persona, Trainspotting, Waking Life, Nights of Cabiria, Wings of Desire, Trainspotting, Jules & Jim, Moulin Rouge, Big Fish, Chicago, Hair, all other musicals ever made, Closer, Tatuagem, Amélie Poulain, Harriet the Spy...
Books (mostly authors): Clarice Lispector, Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, His Dark Materials, Lemony Snicket, Jostein Gaarder, Lord of the Thieves, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Digital Fortress, The Unbearable Lightness of Being
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to many countries and visited a lot of cool places, but I think the most amazing of them was in my own country: I went to Amazonia and spent a week living in a boat, showering on the river and knowing the people there. The beauty is indescribable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to make origami and hand-made notebooks and wallets, or try any other crafts I can learn.
I play the guitar and sing a little, too.
I dance samba (de gafieira) and I've had circus clases (aerial and acrobatics).
Also, I know something about making movies, I guess.
