About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discover/develop adequate experimental means to display literary text digitally
ABOUT ME
Describable as very social I am. I also have a tendency for playful uses of words, which I constantly have to suppress. I guess I'm at the same time rather outgoing and homely. I'm battling the stiffening influences of the academic language surrounding me, and while I'll certainly lose, there might at least be some mediocre byproducts springing up on the way. Also: In general it's safe for me to say: If you like something, it will be hard not to get me motivated. Or something.
Currently I'm rarely seen at: faculty of comparative literature & faculty of philosophy at the Freie Universitaet Berlin. The last three months of the year I will spend working for the cultural department of the Goethe-Institut Seoul.
PHILOSOPHY
Avoid solemn citations.
And raptors.

Interests
If it involves physical stress, you can count me in. So whatever sport is involved, I'll participate.
And then the nights!
I love water, esp. lakes, tasty food, especially traditional food, fresh food, food that ain't fresh, non-traditional food; I do have a distinct interest in veritable literature but also in all kinds of less fictional literature; and nature. I suffer from an irritating visceral inclination to ascend any iterating visible inclination. oh and the words, the words...

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch any movie (except movies that are neither in some way interesting nor bad enough to be entertaining) . Some great movies I can think of now are Survive Style 5+, Inland Empire, the first scene of "You kill me", and many many others.
I listen to music. Ratatat! Ween's great, Mr. Oizo sweet, Tool mostly fantastic. But to make it clear: I dance to any kind of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stood on a dune in Death Valley at 3am, 122° Fahrenheit, feeling everything but human.
Saw a hydrant in Toulon stand still at 3pm, 82° Fahrenheit, feeling very human. (the hydrant)
Teach, Learn, Share
I read a lot. I once almost grilled a fish.
