Overview
About Me
I’m an easygoing guy who likes to make new friends. When time allows, I love traveling to and experiencing new places and meeting awesome people. Couchsurfing has been great because through hosting I have been able to meet and and learn about interesting people. I can’t travel all the time due to work, but I would love to do it vicariously by meeting new friends! Send me a joke about your country/culture if requesting to stay :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people and give an opportunity for people to experience and love my hometown, New Orleans.
New Orleans is a very touristic city that attracts guests from across the world. I don’t do much tour guiding in the French quarter these days, but I would be glad to show you around my neighborhood (Midcity). There are some must do’s here and I have other recommendations too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mostly indie rock and southern/bluesy rock. Also 90’s. Black pumas favorite band right now. Love seeing live music.
Favorite movies are city of god and o brother where art thou. I wish I read more but all time favorite book is catch-22. Just started one hundred years of solitude. Edit: finished it and loved that book. Hope to read it in Spanish one day. Kafka on the shore new recent favorite.
I’ve recently started sending guests off with a book to read while traveling. Feel free to bring one to exchange!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Help with cooking, cleaning, etc. Great conversation and excel skills. To me Cs should be an exchange even if it’s just laughs.
Countries I’ve Visited
Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Mexico, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Switzerland
