About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old and in a few months I´ll be moving to Madrid, Spain to teach English. I speak a few languages, love meeting new people and visiting new places and I'm a pretty good cook when I want to be.

PHILOSOPHY

A life lived in fear is a life half-lived.

I think I've only recently begun to put this into practice, trying to push myself to take more risks and move outside of my comfort zone. Travel is a great way to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I just surf, my apartment right now is too small to hold guests, unless you want to sleep under my bed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can say without hyperbole that it has completely changed the way I view travelling and also reaffirmed my faith in the kindness and generosity of others. Letting someone you barely know into such an intimate space as your own home requires a lot of openness, trust and magnanimity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

visited 6 states (2.66%)

I participated in one of the largest pro-marriage-equality demonstrations in Paris last February. Even though I'm not a French citizen it was still amazing feeling like I was a part of history.

I had Thanksgiving dinner with complete strangers in Memphis, TN. They made me feel more welcome than I ever did with my own family.

Teach, Learn, Share

Take me to places in your city where tourists never go. Teach me the history of the place and funny anecdotes and fun memories you've made there. Take me to your favorite bar, book store, street, etc. In return I can cook you something and I'll do my best to make you laugh.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
