About Me

I signed up on here 10yrs ago and have yet to use the CS. I've mostly camped out and been in hostels. Feeling the urge to hop back on and give this a try. So many of my friends have had wonderful experiences.

I'm a loving spirit, an introverted extrovert at times. People have a natural tendency to feel comfortable in my presence and open up to me. I'm humbled to create that safe space for people to feel vulnerable and heard.

I love life, exploring and learning.

I appreciate the "little things" in life and do my best to maintain a positive outlook no matter what. Sometimes that may seem a little easier said than done. Lol.

I'm a makeup artist and travel a lot for work. I'm also certified as a raw food coach and getting ready to start hosting women's circles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would adore making friends on here, meeting people all over the planet and expanding my spiritual and loving family.

Interests

- be in any body of water
- play with my kittays
- look up destinations I want to visit on Pinterest
- laugh at myself
- travel someplace with no plan and see what shows up
- admire & appreciate anything and everything
- envision/daydream
- dress up/down
- talking in funny voices with my friends
- blow bubbles...always fun when I do it for my cats and in traffic.
- I like blasting music in the house and dance like no one is watching. This usually involves a lot of exaggerated booty shaking. Ever see Carmen Diaz in the "Charlie's Angels" movie? Yeah, I'm somethin' like that. lol.

- holistic and natural remedies
- Matrix Energetics (I have studied levels 1 & 2)
- teachings from "mastering alchemy" & Jim Self
- crystals and stones
- metamusic

I would love to learn more about different forms of energy work and play the native american flute, violin and guitar.

I believe we are all capable healers and healing oneself is most important. Without your own health and love you will not heal and love.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I like a lot of music. It depends on my mood. It can go from classical, new age and ambient to dance rock, electro, indie, dubstep and drum n bass to 60's, 70's rock, 80's pop and new wave to old school hip hop, trip hop and IDM to an Indian sitar, Japanese flutes, native american flutes and Columbian guitar. I hope you get my drift. I adore music. I would love to learn how to play the violin, the electric violin to be precise. Look up Ed Alleyne-Johnson. I played in the 7th grade and could not continue because I was an art major. :(

MOVIES: Avatar, 127 Hours, Amelie, The Dark Crystal, Into the Wild, Freaks, Survive Style Five, What the Bleep?, A Beautiful Mind, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Conversations with God, The Fountain...

BOOKS: I'm currently in a book club reading the Holographic Universe. Loving the conversation that is stirring up from it.

I enjoy self help, metaphysical books that remind me of how amazing I am and this gift of life is. Books with a message, a lesson that carries into my everyday life.

I also enjoy books on health, astrology, energy, the unknown, sharks, new age, juicing, raw diets, veganism, pure awesomeness, books with pretty photos of nature and the world...etc. And I love having journals and sketch books. :-)

J. Krishnamurti, Eckart Tolle, Ram Das, Osho, Caroline Reynolds, Don Miguel Ruiz, Rumi, Dr Joe Dispenza, Penny Pierce, David Wolfe, Gary Zukav, Dr Fred Alan Wolfe, Chögyam Trungpa, John Robbins, Abraham Hicks....
