ABOUT ME

Well, when I was younger I wanted to be a dolphin trainer. But somehow that dream got lost along the way (perhaps because of my fear of dolphins and aversion to water). What do I want to be now? I don't know... I just don't know --- Your friend? Have I impressed you with my strength of direction in life?

Yes, well anyway, I'm a fan of laughing with others (occasionally at others... but mostly with). I do think I'm pretty funny. Funny indeed. Now, I recognize that if I ever meet you, there will be a lot of pressure on my part to live up to this online funny personality I've so carefully crafted. It's hard work, yes... but let me tell you, my friends -- that's another of my talents. (and I'm in the process of acquiring another fine talent -- playing the spoons.... I can teach you if you'd like; nothing quite like a good session of Spoon-playing - a highly underrated instrument, let me tell you.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I do my best here. Started out as a couch surfer, now turned more surfee - I swear I'll do my best to get back to you, but if I don't, it's most likely because I haven't checked in a while, and, yes, I'll feel exceedingly guilty about it. ah... sweet sweet guilt, remnant of my catholic childhood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In france - lyon. Did it with a group of three, and, I'm not gonna lie... i think it was successful. Also Dublin, woo hoo. In Belgium - fun as always. And then I've hosted about 4 or 5 with delightful results.

Interests

Bikes, dancing, blues, running around, meandering about, feeling velvet (against the grain, with the grain, against the grain, with the grain... so on, so forth), and keeping my eyes on the prize... oh, and jumping jacks. Playing the banjo... and the spoons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A group of cats, tap dancing to old-timey music, with top hats and canes and tiny cat mittens. But wait... that was a dream I had. Well, I guess I'm still waiting for that one to materialize.

I have, however, eaten a sandwich after it fell open face on the ground (picked of a stray hair, and good to go)... and I'm still alive. If that's not amazing, I don't know what is.

Teach, Learn, Share

Be careful while chewing your food. Because, at any moment, you could accidentally bite the inside of your cheek or lip. And you know what? That really hurts (plus, after you do it once... it keeps happening again and again).
