ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small town on the Pacific coast in Mexico, when I was 19 I lived for a couple of months in Boston, in 2010 I went to France to learn a little bit of french, and finally I moved to Mexico city last August where I'm currently studying a BA in History.
About me and my personality... I will say that I have many personalities just like everyone: during school periods I spend most of my time reading and studying, during weekends I try to forget that I am a nerd girl, so in vacations I keep very relaxed, but if travelling, I tend to fall in love with the strange or different things that I´m not used to seeing or doing, since I'm very passionate of getting to know new cultures and people from all around the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to help people who want to surf my couch. As I would like to be helped, I will host people in my flat. It doesn't matter my whereabouts in the world, I will offer a couch or some place to sleep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became a member on June 2010. My firs Couch Surfing experience was last year when I hosted Jill, a very nice German Girl, I had such a great time with her wandering around Toulose and talking for hours to her. I found CS experience very interesting, which encouraged me to keep hosting people at my place. In the other hand, I have been hosted two times, my hosts made me feel at home and made me had a great time.

Interests

I love going to the beach and to lie down on the sand, smelling the salty smell of the sea.
I love to be with my dog, reading and wandering around Mexico city. I love Art and I support the theory "Art is all what human being call Art"

Music, Movies, and Books

I´m not an erudite on cinematography, but I can say that my favorite movie director is Pedro Almodovar. I love every single film of this guy, specially "Volver". I really enjoy watching Woody Allen films. But my favorite movie ever is Buffalo 66, god what a movie! I don´t have a special literature to love, the thing it´s that I have read a little bit of everything, but i can say Im in love with these books: Demian - Herman Hesse, Los detectives salvajes - Bolaño, Istambul - Orhan Pamuk, Lolita - Nabokov, Momo - Michael Ende, Cien años de Soledad - García Márquez,Hemingway - The old man and the sea, Edward Said - Orientalism... (i could give a big list) but on any list Le petit prince from Antoine de Saint Exupery must be mentionet!! Regarding music, I like all kinds of relaxed music, reggae, alternative rock, indie. In this moment I´m in love with Beach House, M. Ward, Grimes, Beirut and Die Antword.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seing the middlenight sun in northern Sweden, what a Sun man!, and what a weird experience to go to bed when sun still in the sky.
