Hi there,
I'm Becca. Currently I am in a respiratory therapy program in Colorado. When I am not studying, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, biking, and much more.
My partner Alex, 31 y.o., and I love traveling. We will be traveling together so I will tell you a bit about him. He has traveled to many countries and has incredible travel stories to share. His most recent was a 3 week solo journey in Peru. Alex is a physical therapist working in a neurology clinic treating patients with chronic pain and migraines. He loves being a physical therapist and is great at his job. He played college rugby for Texas State. Now he spends much of his time doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and being outdoors.
We both enjoy philosophical conversations and will talk about mostly anything!
Upon my graduation we plan on moving to New Zealand. Alex lived in NZ for a year during college. He absolutely loved it and has been dreaming of heading back ever since.

Our house is about 12-15 mins away from Boulder, 10mins to Lyons, 1 hour to Denver, 1 hour to Fort Collins, and 45 mins to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to find wonderful places to stay during travels. It sounds wonderful to be able to share stories with the host about each others travels. There is so much to learn with this.
Am so excited to finally have a home that can be used for surfers!
I also think it is great being able to stay with a local. Then we can find out all the hidden gems and avoid the large touristy crowds.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy books about neurology and consciousness. Brain science is completely fascinating to me and I love learning and reading about it.
Alex is an incredible musician. He plays guitar, drums, mandolin, banjo, and probably some other things I don't know about. Check out our music room in the photos! We also have a drum set in the basement.
We both are into podcasts and books by Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We train for and love triathlons!
Alex is a jiu jitsu coach on the side of his PT work.

Teach, Learn, Share

We both would love to learn about the local scene. What is the history? Where is the best place to get food? Any live music? We want to learn from you about all your town has to offer.
We would love to share about our town too! There is the coolest little Bike Shop/Cantina across the street.
