i love to laugh! i am spontaneous, a little loud, friendly, and always up for a new adventure with new people. i have lived in 4 different countries in the past 4 years, and i have left pieces of my heart in each place. i am a life-long learner who greatly values knowledge, so i'm always up for mind-expanding conversations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far i have only surfed once, and it was a fabulous experience, but i am more than willing to host when i have a couch available. i was privileged enough to be part of a thriving CS community in Brno, Czech Republic. we met on a weekly basis for language groups, festivals, and other exciting events. occasionally i'd lead and organize the English meetings, considering i teach it and all. i would love to get involved in any other aspects in which i haven't yet taken part.

Interests

too many things. going on adventures, meeting new and interesting people, music, sports (playing rather than watching), cards, obviously traveling, dancing, laughing, watching movies and getting a good read in, and socializing. PEOPLE.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on Christmas day 2008, i went on a 10k hike on the Great Wall. i had gotten food poisoning from bad fish the night before, but that didn't stop me. it really is one of the most breathtaking views. unfortunately (and unintentionally of course), due to the upset stomach...i uhhh, made it slightly less beautiful when i left my mark on the Great Wall, if you know what i mean. twice actually.
